During Elections, the Nazis exploited economic troubles by blaming them on “un-German” influences, such as Communists(who had good standing in the polls) and Jews. During the last U.S election, the Democratic Party capitalized on the economic troubles, and used the perception (let’s ignore if this is true or false for now) that George Bush and the Republican Party caused the financial meltdown. So we’ve established that both the Democrats and the Nazis were savvy political navigators.

During and after elections, the SA, vernacularly known as the Brownshirts, fought street battles with Communists and Socialists in the streets, trying to intimidate the people to vote for them with shear force of arms. The Democrats, unless they possess special forces the likes of which are unknown to man who secretly coerced 52.9% of the people to vote for Obama, have not done anything of the sort.

Considering the concentration of guns and threatening posters (see image)at anti-Obama rallies, the intimidation is not being done by the Democrats, but by those who claim that the Democrats are using fascist policies.

After they had reached their legitimate electoral peak, the Nazis fenagled the President to appoint Hitler Chancellor. He then quickly pushed an enabling act through the Parliament, which, to paraphrase things, gave Hitler personal control over the legislature of the country. He quickly banned all other parties and consolidated power. This political policy is clearly not on the Democratic platform.

There’s also the glaring difference between the Nazis and the Democrats in that one party dragged their country into the most disasterous war in history, and the other is scaling down on military agression. Nowhere has Barack Obama promised that America will take over the world for any master race.

Nazi Germany did have some government-run healthcare, that’s true. But so do Canada, Sweden, Britain, and innumerable other non-fascist countries. Besides, the healthcare in Nazi Germany was purely for those deemed of suitable national character.

There are some who claim that the fact that Hitler inspired lots of people and that Obama also inspired lots of people makes the two inseperable in all respects. That is like saying that because both George Bush and Neville Chamberlain both won elections at some point, their ideologies are identical.

Let’s not forget the Holocaust, eh? The Nazi ideology was responsible for the deaths of 38 million war-dead, and the deliberate murder of 12 million civilians. The rationale behind this atrocity was found in the nationalist groundings of the National Socialist German Worker’s Party. There are no such groundings of the Democratic Party, other than that it is an American Party, and has to be nationalistic to the point that it identifies with the electorate.

To loosely throw around the name “Nazi” at this or that party is a horrible disrespect to Jews and other victims of real fascism.  Stick to the issues, don’t make them up.

Also, the concept of Dictatorship of the Proletariat is widely misunderstood. Some (including me a while back) think that the Dictatorship of the Proletariat justifies harsh totalitarian regimes like that in the former Soviet Union and the one currently in China. The Dictatorship of the Proletariat is a regime in which the workers rule completely, therefore, a single dictator would be out of the question. It is my personal opinion that a Dictatorship of the Proletariat is what we know as Social Democracy. The workers, the majority, maintain control through democracy, and the government rules for the majority. There. The Dictatorship of the Proletariat is not a totalitarian hellhole reminiscent of Orwellian ani-fantasy.

The answer to the above question, with regards to European nations at any rate, is an area of land inhabited by somewhat related ethnic groups. In ancient days, it was necessary for some tribes to raid other tribes to survive, and for the potentially raided tribes to defend themselves. Dying for ones own family to support their survival would be a noble and honourable thing. As time progressed, and technology developed, the need to raid and defend against raiding decreased, yet war carried on. It seems that as the power shifted from the hands of the tribal community into the hands of it’s rulers, so did the focus of war. The ruling classes of societies found that they could use the blood of others to further their interests, both through labour and through war. Civil wars between heirs of great kings and the feuding of petty noblemen are evidence to this. Causes were invented and banners made up to try to rally the people to battle, to die on the bayonets of ambition and greed. Sometimes, however, the benefits of labour and the spoils of war came into conflict; ie. the men who would work the sawmills were instead dying on fallow fields, minimizing profits for everyone. Peace treaties and ententes were drawn up by the great powers of Europe to prevent wars like the Napoleonic from happening again. When Serbian terrorists assassinated the Austo-Hungarian Archduke Ferdinand, Austria-Hungary had to violate the peace to defend it’s interests, prompting Russia, Germany, France, and Britain into the war. The people who were recruited to join the forces didn’t think “Oh no, Austria-Hungary tried to get revenge on their assassinated prince and as a result are caught up in a massive war! I should fight them!”. If people didn’t care about the intruiges of nations, then who did? The ruling class. It was the rich people and rulers of nations that cared about treaties and wars, for they were the ones to profit from their creation and destruction. The profiteering seen in World War One was no exception to any rule, it was the rule and the reason for wars before and after it.

So on Remembrance Day, comrades, remember that yes, the soldiers you mourn did die, and did sacrifice, but that there was no cause they were killed for, it was only the money of their masters that mattered. And also remember that it is up to us to make sure that those who make money from our blood must and can be stopped! Workers of the World Unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains!

Come on, let him win! Man, this American election is like the world’s biggest soccer games. You know the one, from the Heinneken commercial where the entire world is watching one soccer game, and all the nationalities watching it comment on the play-by play. Judging from international opinion polls, I can guess what the entire world’s reaction will be if John McCain and Sarah God-put-the-bones-in-the-ground-to-fool-us Palin win. The streets of every major capital in the world will be rife with burning cars and writhing crowds. Minor republics in the Caribbean will declare war on the Americans just because of their choice of president. Families will be gathered, crying, holding and kissing mini-crucifixes, murmuring the praises of the Virgin Mary.
On a more serious note, the election of John McCain would be the worst thing to happen to the world since the invention of the nuclear bomb. Sarah Palin, john McCain’s running mate, seriously believes that God created the world, civilization and all, six thousand years ago, and that scientific evidence that proves otherwise was invented by God to fool us. Jesus Christ. She is an ardent supporter of abstinence-only education, a policy that didn’t work in her own family, let alone a policy that will work on the entire country. She believes in the right of every citizen to bear arms unrestrictedly and holds the profits of oil companies above the status of polar bears. The very fact that Sarah Palin was even a serious consideration of John McCain as a Vice Presidential Candidate shows how disturbing a place America truly is. The fact that she has such widespread support makes me want to move to New Zealand, because Marx knows what she’ll do to Canada if she gets into office. The McCainian side of the McCain-Palin ticket isn’t all too disturbing, what with the standard, expected Republican cuts of social programs, increased military spending, and further alienation of the rest of the world, but his choice of running mate is a true sign of the perverted times we live in.
Barack Obama, the first black man to be elected president, will counter the evil that is in America currently. Some accuse him of being a socialist, but I praise him for having those tendencies. Nationalized health insurance will reverse the capitalisticly evil trends prevalent in the US today. As I said earlier, I dearly hope Barack Obama wins this US election, for he will revolutionarily change the course of the US, and maybe, just maybe, I will stop thinking of the concept of evil imperialism whenever I see a US Marine or their flags.

Communism is a classless, caste-less, government-less hierarchy-free society in which the free development of each is the condition for the free development of all. There is no currency, there are no hierarchies, and goods are exchanged freely, according to the producer’s ability and the consumer’s need. This has never been achieved at a large scale in reality, though some would argue that attempts have been made.

Socialism is a state in which the majority (workers and other non-landowners) have taken control via a dictatorship of the proletariat. What this dictatorship constitutes is hotly debated amongst comrades and non-comrades alike, but I will give my opinion. Dictatorship of the proletariat is literally what the words mean: direct and overbearing control exercised by the working class. Seeing as the working class are the majority, and should have control in a democracy, this dictatorship would in truth be real democracy, in which the wishes of all of the people are expressed, even the business owners, for the business owners will only get overuled by the majority of the population: the workers. In short, socialism, acccording to my definition, is a democracy that is controlled by the people, in the interests of the people. Some capitalist things exist, such as money, and exchange of money for goods and services, but the markets are all regulated in the interests of the people.

Capitalism is the total lack of government, save an inactive central bank which issues currency with which things can be bought and sold. In true capitalism, everything has a monetary value and can be bought or sold on a completely unregulated free market. Wages are completely controlled by the employer, and there are no unions. In true capitalism, money is seen as a marker of success and intellect; those with money are considered inherently responsible and brilliant, and those without are considered to be deeeply flawed or somehow mentally debilitated. Law (or in this case, contract) enforcement, health care, banking, and armed forces are all privatized. Nations are irrelevant, for the exchange of capital and the hierarchies of capitalistic relations are what define people and groups of people, not nationalistic sentiment. Any means necessary are used to gain an upper hand in the competition that is the free market, including extortion and violence. This, curiously enough, has not
